Few people realize the amount of work it takes to get a new restaurant off the ground. You need to lease a location, remodel it to fit your needs, secure suppliers, buy everything from commercial ovens to dining room tables and chairs, and so on. Fortunately, you can take care of signage with just a single phone call. Riverdogs realized this, so they contacted Specialty Graphic Solutions for signs for new restaurants in Washougal, WA.
Craft Beer and Hot Dogs. What Else Could You Ever Need?
Located on Main Street, Riverdogs is the latest restaurant to hit Washougal. They plan on opening their doors to the public tomorrow, August 19th. They carry a wide variety of Pacific Northwest beers on tap and in the bottle. They even have growler options. Their menus features eight different hot dogs, including one with mac & cheese on it. It was hard to keep our mouths from watering during this project!
You’d think that craft beer and hot dogs would be able to sell themselves, and for the most part, they do. But, you have to let people know that you have these delicious foods and beverages in order to get them through the door. That’s why Riverdogs contacted our mighty sign makers. They needed all of the signage and knew our mighty sign makers could handle the job after owner Aaron Bryant witnessed our handsome handiwork firsthand at the Thirsty Sasquatch in downtown Vancouver.
Riverdogs’ New Signage Is a Weiner!
Riverdogs needed everything: backlit sign panels, window graphics, A-frame signs, and even menu cards. We were up to the task. The new venue was already set up for a cabinet sign. We just needed to fabricate panel inserts that would allow the light to shine through at night and entice customers. We chose 3/16” polycarbonate sign panels with a laminated, full color print of their logo on translucent Avery vinyl.
For the window graphics, we had to first remove the vinyl from the previous tenant. We then put up new frosted graphics using MacTac B-free Frosted vinyl. These vinyl graphics are similar to those found at the Thirsty Sasquatch, only they serve the vital role of letting passersby know about the craft beer and hot dogs.
Next up, we supplied them with a 36” A-board sign, also referred to as an A-frame sign. This had chalkboard faces on each side, so the restaurant staff can update it with daily messages and daily specials. Clever bar A-board sign messages have been going viral on social media recently, so they can potentially have far reaching marketing value.
Finally, our very own Kindra designed the menu and got incredibly hungry in the process. Once the design was perfect, we printed and delivered the 100 double-sided menu cards directly to the client’s door. In the end, Riverdogs was completely satisfied with the work we did. Head on over to Washougal for the grand opening on Wednesday to check out the job we did!
