Advertise with Box Truck Graphics in Portland Oregon!

By | Box Truck Graphics, Box Truck Wraps | No Comments

Your advertising must have a huge impact if you want your organization to succeed in a competitive industry. Sure, you can keep posting homemade videos to your company’s Facebook page and hope they go viral, but only so many people love kittens, and it may make your business appear unprofessional. Instead, we recommend using your marketing money to install affordable box truck graphics in Portland, Oregon.

Let’s Look at the Math

The average size of a billboard you see along highways, primary arteries, and expressways is about 14 feet high by 48 feet wide. That works out to 672 square feet. On the other hand, a small box truck has a cargo area of about 6 feet high by 12 feet long by 6.5 feet wide. There are essentially three large surfaces that you can advertise on (not counting your doors, hood, and the front): the left side, the right side, and the rear. This works out to a surface area of about 183 square feet, and most box trucks have much more space than this.

You may be thinking, “Why’s this Einstein giving me a math lesson? I’m here to learn about box truck graphics!” We’re going somewhere with this. The cost to advertise with a billboard for one month is approximately the same if not slightly more than the cost of wrapping your box truck. Wraps last you for up to five years or more.

Now that we’ve shown our work, here are the conclusions you can draw:

  • Math is fun and easy.
  • Box truck graphics, though not as big as billboards, are closer to the viewer and thus relatively bigger.
  • Box truck graphics go where your customers are, unlike billboards that kind of hover like UFOs waiting for crazy people to look at them.
  • For the same price, vehicle graphics last you about 60 times longer than a billboard.
  • You need box truck graphics.

What’s Possible with Box Truck Graphics?

There’s sure to be a graphics option that’s just right for your pricing points. Some of the most popular solutions include:

Vehicle Lettering – There’s no more affordable way of putting your company’s contact info and name on your fleet than vinyl lettering. You can pick from many standard colors, sizes, and fonts, or we can create custom letters that match your other marketing materials.

Spot Graphics – This is the most cost-effective way to put your logo on your trucks. You might also consider spot graphics for showing off photographs of projects you’re particularly proud of or your best-selling items.

Wraps – As we’ve already covered in our little math lesson, you get a lot of real estate for your message with box trucks. Full vehicle wraps take advantage of every square inch of your truck’s surface. Or, if you want to save a few bucks, we can work with the colors of your vehicle to create a partial wrap that looks like a full wrap. No one has to know it’s a partial wrap.

This is just a sampling of what we can do. If you want to know exactly what we can do for your organization, please pick up the phone and contact the mighty sign makers at Specialty Graphic Solutions today for a free consultation on box truck wraps in Portland, Oregon.

You Move Me Box Truck Graphics Work, and It’s an Orange Truck!

By | Box Truck Graphics, Box Truck Wraps, Vehicle Wrap | No Comments

You Move Me is the kind of moving company that approaches each job in a holistic fashion. Seeing the customer as more than just a truckload of boxes to transport from point A to point B without breakage, this enterprise puts a personal touch on every client interaction. Hey, they even bring you coffee! (No, really.)

When the local franchise owner bought an older model orange box truck, it was evident from the start that this workhorse was ideal for hauling boxes safely and swiftly. Understanding the importance of mobile marketing, and perhaps in an effort not to be seen by various and sundry in a bright orange conveyance, he contacted our visual artists at Specialty Graphic Solutions for help with a graphics package.

Budget-friendly Box Truck Graphics for Moving Companies in Vancouver, WA

Although not as difficult to tackle as the Lernaean Hydra, the client added a couple of challenges. For starters, the budget had to stretch so that the box portion would feature excellent marketing graphics and the cab’s color could be integrated as well. Secondly, there is a set of franchise rules in place regarding the use of colors, images, and graphics. Oh yes, and these colors include black and lime green with not an orange anything anywhere. Could we do it? You bet!

Creativity + Customer-provided Artwork = Move-in Ready Box Truck Graphics

Playing Iolaus to our Heracles of graphic design, Taylor was able to install the finished product that consisted of a 220-square-foot graphics extravaganza featuring air release technology and an over-laminate to enhance the useful life of the product. Our client provided us with business office approved graphics and logos. We worked up a design that uses the box truck’s orange paint job as a frame as well as an accent color.

Look carefully; you notice an orange lava lamp and other little details. And yes, these are rivets. Lots and lots of small rivets. While for most installers these little things are the banes of their existence, Taylor tackled them with as much gusto as a Hydra-slaying Heracles did away with an oversized crab. Before long, the vehicle displayed an attractive mix of colors, images, and messages. Our client was pleased with the finished product (and the fact that he no longer had to ride in an all-orange box truck).

Box Truck Graphics Promote Clark County Food Bank in Vancouver!

When you think of the most famous signs in the country, the Hollywood sign or the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign may come to mind. The main characteristic that these signs and any marker that’s somewhat memorable have in common is they’re “YUGE” (as certain presidential candidates say).

So, when you have a box truck, you have the opportunity to create a large sign that people will remember.  Clark County Food Bank realized this and without hesitation contacted the mighty sign makers at Specialty Graphic Solutions for delivery box truck graphics in Vancouver, WA.  The folks at the food bank know the mighty sign makers well – they’re one of our favorite serial customers!  We’ve done several vehicle graphics projects, plus check out this cool commercial freezer door graphics project we did for them!

Deposits and Withdrawals at the Clark County Food Bank

The Clark County Food Bank, or CCFB as the cool kids call them, is situated on Northeast 47th Avenue in Vancouver. On a daily basis, the food bank picks up unsold food from local grocery stores, restaurants and other community minded places. This food is then distributed to partner agencies. They in turn provide food boxes to individuals and families they’ve identified as being in need. This is a great win-win-win setup with grocery stores unloading their unwanted inventory, hungry people getting food, and there’s less waste!  Lest you think this is small potatoes – CCFB distributes six million pounds of food and five million meals a year!

When a group that does such valuable work for our community came to us for delivery box truck graphics for Vancouver, WA, we couldn’t wait to create some delicious designs. This wasn’t our first time working with CCFB. In the past, we’d created vehicle graphics for their other vehicles and installed a cool giant mural on the sliding door of their commercial freezer in their food warehouse. For this project, they needed graphics for a brand new box truck. We knew just what to do!

We Gave CCFB the SGS Treatment

When we first met with CCFB for this project, we got to check out their new ride. The truck was purchased thanks to a grant from Walmart. They wanted the new truck to match the branding found on their other vehicles. Plus, they wanted to use special graphics to show their appreciation to Walmart for their financial commitment and to share Walmart’s dedication to fighting hunger in America. We created some art proofs for them to choose from. Once they were happy, we got down to work.

We printed the full-color graphics for both sides and the back of the new box truck on Oracal 3165A print vinyl using our large format digital printer. We also added Oracal 210 laminate to make sure the graphics would look their best for up to five years.

We then worked out a good time for the installation process. They ended up dropping off the truck at the end of the day on Thursday, and by Friday afternoon, they were able to pick up the truck with all the graphics installed and looking great. CCFB was completely happy with the work we did!

Box Truck Graphics Advertise for Richart Builders in Vancouver WA!

By | Box Truck Graphics, Truck Lettering, Vehicle Vinyl Lettering | No Comments

If Hollywood movies are any indication, not even FBI surveillance vans are free of vehicle graphics. They almost always advertise a fake flower delivery company or some other made up enterprise. If even spies understand the benefits of vinyl graphics, why are your work trucks missing identifying marks?

Richart Family Incorporated understood the importance of using box track graphics for remodeling contractors in Vancouver, WA to create 24/7 moving billboards. That’s why they called in the experts at Specialty Graphic Solutions for their new vehicle.

What Does Richart Do?

Located on Northeast 20th Avenue in Vancouver, Richart Family Incorporated is a general contracting business that serves commercial and residential customers in Washington and Oregon by offering remodeling, energy conservation, and building services. They’ve been at it for more than three decades. Their success is due to their mission of providing the best quality of energy conservation construction services in an efficient, environmentally sound, and safe manner through a business culture of teamwork and family values.

When a company that does such fine work for the area came to us for box truck graphics for Vancouver, WA, we were more than happy to help. This wasn’t Richart’s first rodeo. We have a long history of producing van and truck graphics, construction site signs, yard signs, flyers, and business cards for them. They knew they could count on us to deliver with our box truck graphics. And, spoiler alert: we did!

We Gave Them the Patented SGS Treatment

The gang at Richart Builders are really a terrific bunch. And, they’re smart cookies for using their fleet of vehicles to advertise their business. In fact, the moment they got their new 24-foot-long box truck, they brought it over to us. The truck literally only had ten miles on the odometer when it got here!

It’s a blower truck that’s used to blow insulation into residential and commercial buildings in order to make them more energy efficient. Just the two sides of the truck alone give them more than 400 square feet of advertising space to work with. Our mighty sign makers were chomping at the bit to do something fun with that canvas.

We worked with Richart’s branding to produce graphics that would boost their name recognition as well as let motorists and passersby know what it is they specialize in. When we had the lettering and logos ready, we scheduled a time to install their new graphics. It just so happened to work out that our mighty sign makers Taylor and Jason had a beautiful sunny day to do the work. That’s some big news in January in the Pacific Northwest! Sure, we would’ve gotten the job done rain or shine, but it was just nice to be dry and in shirt sleeves in the “dead” of winter!

In the end, Richart thought we did a bang up job! Now, as their box truck is on the road five days a week, it’ll be reaching literally thousands of drivers every day.

Are you ready to get a high ROI for your marketing budget? Contact SGS today for a free consultation! We’ll even help you if you run a spy agency. We totally won’t tell anyone.
