Ready to Use Vinyl Graphics Inside Your Vancouver Business? Here’s How!

By | Door Graphics, Floor Graphics, Lobby Signs, Walls Graphics | No Comments

Vinyl isn’t just for hipster record collectors and people with interesting taste in clothing. These days, vinyl films are used on just about every surface in professional offices from tabletops to floors to windows. Are you curious about how vinyl could benefit your organization? You’re in luck. Just read on to learn about the many varied uses for vinyl graphics for businesses in Vancouver, WA.

Lobby Signs

When you envision a lobby sign, you may picture dimensional letters mounted behind a reception desk. This is effective. However, if you have a large focal wall in your lobby, you may want to think a little bigger. With vinyl graphics, you can have a logo that takes up an entire wall and dominates the visual field of anyone who enters your building. The only way to make a more permanent impression with your branding is to heat up a branding iron and apply it to the posteriors of your clients. We think vinyl graphics will yield better long-term results.

Wall Art or Murals

It used to be that the height of interior décor was a boring, old watercolor painting that depicted a neutral scene. Nowadays, you have the ability to cover your walls with high-resolution images of anything you want. Do you have photos of work that your company produced that you’re particularly proud of? We can render it in fine detail on vinyl using our large format digital printer. This is motivational to employees and intriguing to customers and guests.

Wayfinding Signs

Do people have a hard time finding their way around your facility? You can make life more difficult for these people by installing vinyl graphics that point visitors in the wrong direction. Want to make your building a pleasant place to visit? Vinyl lettering can also be used to give accurate directions. We can create entire wayfinding systems using vinyl. For instance, you might install different colored vinyl ribbons that correspond with individual departments or suites within your facility. Clients could simply follow the ribbon from your entrance to the department/suite they’re looking for.

Add Privacy to Meeting Rooms

We’ve all had this experience: We’re in an important business meeting with high-profile clients when a coworker sees you in the meeting, puts their mouth on the giant floor-to-ceiling glass panes surrounding the room, and makes loud farting sounds. There goes your biggest customer! Don’t let this happen to your enterprise again! Instead, we can install etched or frosted vinyl graphics to any glass surface to obscure the view in or out. There! We just saved you millions of dollars.

These are just a few of the ways you can use vinyl graphics for offices in Vancouver, WA. We’re full of brilliant ideas that can improve your work environment. For instance, we can install inspirational quotes in your cafeteria or other common areas using vinyl lettering.

Woodland Family Medicine Welcomes with Window Graphics!

By | Door Graphics, Window Graphics | No Comments

In 1996, Congress passed HIPAA. This act basically makes it illegal for anyone to share your health information without your consent. So, if you go to the doctor to have a third eyeball removed from your back, they can’t sell pictures of the anomaly to the National Enquirer.

Part of protecting patients’ privacy is making it so people can’t look into your medical office and see who’s there. Woodland Family Medicine respects the privacy of their patients, so they called Specialty Graphic Solutions for window graphics for physician offices in Woodland, WA.

What’s Woodland Family Medicine? Do They Take Care of Animals?

If you go with the scientific definition of “animal,” then, yes, they do take care of animals…of the human variety. But, the Woodland in their name refers to the delightful town to our north. Woodland Family Medicine is the new second location of Ridgefield Family Medicine, a family medicine practice that was started by Dr. Josephine E. Drew and her colleagues over a decade ago. Today, they focus on providing personalized well-child checks, same-day appointments for urgent care, preventative care, minor surgeries, and much more.

When an enterprise that does so much to keep local residents healthy, happy, and productive came to us for window graphics for doctor’s offices in Woodland, WA, we didn’t think twice about helping. Their new location has giant storefront windows. For retailers, this would be great, but when you want to protect the privacy of patients, it’s a nightmare. Fortunately, our mighty sign makers knew just what to do.

How We Helped Our Woodland Friends

During an initial consultation, we got a good look at the new practice venue and listened to the client’s goals for the project. Essentially, they wanted window graphics that would give some privacy and a professional look to their front doors and windows. When we hear “privacy” and “window graphics,” we immediately think of frosted vinyl. Fortunately, Woodland Family Medicine was on the same wavelength. They were familiar with this vinyl option and were game.

After closely examining the marketing materials and signs used for the Ridgefield office, we noticed oak trees were used frequently. We decided to incorporate this into the window graphics’ design for the new office to keep the branding consistent. Once they approved of the design, we printed it on MacTac B-Free printable frosted vinyl. This is a favorite of ours since it allows us to create unique looks.

Once the design was printed, we installed it on the inside of the glass. We did this for a number of reasons. First, it would protect the vinyl from being vandalized from the outside, where vandals like to roam. Secondly, it created a very sophisticated and sleek muted image from the outside.

For the cut vinyl graphics featuring the doctors’ names and office contact information, we switched things up and installed the white opaque vinyl on the outside for easier readability. In the end, Woodland Family Medicine was completely happy with the work we did.

9 Bar Espresso Uses Door and Window Graphics to Market and Advertise!

By | Door Graphics, Window Graphics | No Comments

Exterior signage for your new venue will cost thousands of dollars, right? It’s best to just pass on the signage and hope people accidentally wander into your storefront. Or, maybe you shouldn’t open a brick and mortar store after all? WAIT! Don’t give up on your dreams just yet! Specialty Graphic Solutions has affordable solutions for you. 9 Bar Espresso recently found this out when they contacted us for window and door graphics.

9 Bar Espresso? That’s Some Pretty Good Wi-Fi!

No, the “bar” referred to in 9 Bar Espresso’s name doesn’t refer to the number of bars of a Wi-Fi signal. Instead, the name refers to the optimal pressure used to extract espresso. 9 bar is equal to a pressure of 130.5 psi. They are a coffee roaster based in Vancouver that is family owned and operated. They offer medium and dark roasts, decaffeinated espresso, single origin beans, and more. Currently, their coffee is served locally at Di Tazza and Bleu Door Bakery in Vancouver and Squeeze & Grind in Camas.

At SGS, we have a hard time passing up a good cup o’ joe. So, when a coffee roaster came to us for window and door graphics for coffee companies in Vancouver, WA, we said of course and asked for a double mocha. 9 Bar Espresso recently moved into a new store location on Northeast 121st Street. They needed a way to let the new neighborhood know who they are. We had just the solution.

What We Did for 9 Bar

After an initial rap session, where we met with 9 Bar and bounced ideas of what we could do for their new storefront off them, we recommended exterior window and door graphics featuring their company logo and website since they take a lot of online orders.

9 Bar already had branding that’s featured prominently on their website. Our mighty sign makers took this branding and incorporated it in vibrant red and white graphics on Avery 700 High-Performance Calendared Vinyl. This vinyl is known to last for a long time. We’re talking years here, not months. That’s a latte.

We give our clients the choice of installing their graphics on the inside or the outside of the glass. For this project, we installed them on the exterior. We prefer this option because the colors and graphics tend to be more vivid without a pane of glass in the way, which may also have glare that can reduce visibility. However, sometimes our customers prefer the interior if they fear that the graphics will be scratched, rubbed up against, or even vandalized by passersby.

In the end, 9 Bar was completely satisfied with the job we did. In fact, they were so happy, they quickly posted images of the finished graphics all over their Facebook page.

This wasn’t our first rodeo. We have plenty of experience producing window and door graphics for coffee and espresso bars in Vancouver, WA. We wrapped a coffee cart for Dutch Bros. And, Black Rock Coffee Bar scored with window clings.
