Signs and Graphics for Charity Poker Event by BnK Construction Benefits Dental Foundation!

By | Event Signs and Graphics, Promotional Signs

Most of us have donated money at some point in our lives. It feels pretty good knowing you’ve helped someone out, but the exchange of cash isn’t really that memorable or sentimental unless you have a particular attachment to Ben Franklin. For the rest of us, an emotional connection to these transactions comes from the fun events nonprofits put on to help raise funds. Nowadays, you can do everything from pudding wrestling to run a marathon to cuss out your caddie on the golf course for a good cause.  Special Event Signs helps drive donations. The Dental Foundation of Oregon and BnK Construction wanted to get gamblers in on the game, so they put together a poker tournament. To show their appreciation for their many generous sponsors, they contacted Specialty Graphic Solutions for signs and graphics for charity poker events in Oregon. What’s the BnK/DFO Charity Poker Tournament? The BnK/DFO Charity Poker Tournament isn’t one of those rough-and-tumble card tournaments that Kenny Rogers would write about. Instead, it’s a friendly Texas hold’em poker tournament put on to raise funds for the Dental Foundation of Oregon (DFO). Their mission is to improve the oral health of Oregon’s children through programs like the Tooth Taxi, which brings direct care and oral health education to underserved children using a free mobile dental clinic. The event attracts many sponsors with our friends at BnK Construction chief among them. When an organization that does so much to help the smiles and overall wellbeing of children came to us for signs and graphics for charity poker events in Oregon, we went all in! BnK Construction was already well aware that our mighty sign makers knew their stuff. We’d produced trade show displays for them a couple years go. We did such a great job that they…

Grab Attention with these Retail Advertising Signs in Portland OR!

By | Point of Purchase Signs, Promotional Signs, Retail Signs

What’s the best way to get consumers interested in your products? If your items are small enough to fit in your hand, you could connect a couple of them together with a short chain and have a karate master swing them around like nunchakus. If your goods are larger, you could have children ride on the products you’re trying to sell like they’re ponies. Of course, these two solutions don’t really show off what your products are capable of, unless, of course, you sell nunchakus or ponies. Consequently, you’ll just have to rely on retail advertising signs in Portland, OR. Fortunately, Specialty Graphic Solutions has some great ideas for you. Check it out! Menu Boards Our menu boards are anything but boring. They’re a favorite in restaurants because they fulfill an array of needs, like complementing your interior décor, building your brand recognition, and displaying colorful photographs of your best-selling dishes. For easier readability, we usually group menu items by type. For instance, at your pizza parlor, we’d recommend separate sections for pizzas, calzones, subs, and more. Point-of-Sale Graphics These graphics are a real POS. No, we’re not saying their total crap. For retailers, POS means “point-of-sale.” And, POS graphics are a must if you want to encourage those impulse purchases. In addition to boosting sales for specific products, you can also use these markers to promote your customer loyalty programs or to get consumers to sign up for store credit cards. Vinyl Wall Graphics Our phone is ringing off the hook with business owners calling about wall graphics. This product is catching on because it can be used for just about anything. Since it’s less expensive, less stinky, and quicker than painting, wall murals are the perfect way to update interior designs. Wall graphics can highlight famous, attractive, and/or…

By | Awards and Plaques, Labels and Decals, Promotional Signs, Wild Card

If you’ve ever visited the Wild Card Gallery on our website, you know that we’re capable of just about anything. This gallery consists of projects we’ve completed that don’t easily fit into nice neat categories. These are the Robert Frosts of signage: they take the road less traveled. Most other sign shops would say “no” to making these markers. Fortunately, the mighty sign makers at Specialty Graphic Solutions love tackling new challenges. In today’s blog, we’re going to take a closer look at some of the custom signs for Vancouver, WA that we’ve made. Customize Your Meeting Materials You can get a lot of planning done over the Internet. Yet, there’s only so much you can see on your computer screen, and a lot of people just skip over emails and other important information. Many organizations still rely heavily on dry erase boards because of this. We help our customers visualize their work obstacles and create plans of attack with custom dry erase boards featuring their branding. Unique Awards that Winners Are Proud to Display Have you ever won an award and been embarrassed by the quality of the knickknack? The chances are you weren’t too interested in showing it off. When events or businesses cut corners on trophies and awards, it shows. Plus, they’re missing out on a great opportunity to boost their brand awareness. At SGS, we can produce a broad range of awards at a relatively affordable price. We only supply pieces that are sure to catch eyes. This will guarantee that recipients will display their awards on their walls or in other prominent places where others are sure to see your incorporated branding. We’ve become a leading trophy maker for dragon boat races. Check out our paddle awards! Graphics for that Special Someone Do you have…
