Moving to a new location can be a real pain in the neck. In addition to getting the new facility just right for the services you provide, you need to move all of your equipment from the old place to the new. Plus, you need to notify your clients of the change. In the hustle to get everything ready for your grand opening, it’s easy to skip the most important step: producing signage for your new digs.
New Heights Physical Therapy+ recognized the importance of announcing their presence in their new neighborhood and contacted the mighty sign makers at Specialty Graphic Solutions for relocation signs Portland, OR sprainiacs can use to brand.
Let’s Get Physical
Recently relocated to Northeast Glisan Street in Portland near Providence Hospital, New Heights Physical Therapy+ strives to offer the best quality of physical therapy to assist their clients in feeling their best at work, play, and at home. They treat everything from auto injuries, bike injuries, back pain, osteoporosis, repetitive motion injuries from installing too many vehicle wraps, and more. And, the methods they use include STEP therapy, microcurrent therapy, manual therapy, and so on. Basically, they do it all.
When a business that provides such a valuable service to the area came to us for new signage, we jumped at the chance to help out. After all, when a physical therapist tells you to do something, you do it. They needed building signs for two sides of their building, a blade sign above their entrance, and window graphics to welcome new patients to the reception area. They were also working on a tight timelines to get everything in place for an open house.
We Worked It Out
After presenting them with a couple different design options, New Heights chose to keep it simple for the building signs. To ensure we were getting the colors exactly right, we brought printed color swatches to the site, so they could choose the perfect shades of gray (we did not give them 50 options). We printed the New Height logo out in bold white letters with a wood grain background. This all contrasted well with the building face. We then adhered the full color digital print with protective laminate to 3mm thick aluminum composite panels and flush mounted the two signs.
To help patients find the entrance and to attract new clients, a double sided blade sign was mounted above the entrance to the building. For this, a 6mm aluminum composite panel was used with laminated full color digital prints on each side. We used a unique powder coated metal sign bracket to mount the marker. As you can see, the yellow version of the New Heights logo really stands out against the dark gray of the building.
Finally, on a large window facing the street, we installed simple white window graphics right at eye level to catch the attention of pedestrians.
We were not pulling New Heights Physical Therapy+’s leg when we said we would have it done right and in time for their open house. They were ecstatic with the job we did.
