6 Key Factors For Effective Retail Signs

6 Key Factors for Effective Retail Signs If you’re trying to create effective retail signs, you may want to consider what CEOs had to say about their goals for 2014. Here are 6 lessons that were shared at the recent National Retail Federation Big Show in New York and how they may affect the signs you choose. In an interview with Forbes, top retailers including Macy’s and Saks revealed their priorities for the months ahead. Personalization and technology were both big concerns: 1. Establish a personal connection Getting cozy with customers is key whether you’re a corner store or an international giant. Think about how your signs help to create a happy customer experience. 2. Localize your message If you have multiple locations, your signs may need a different approach. Maybe they attract different kinds of customers and need signs advertising separate specials that speak to unique audiences. 3. Study big data Everyone is trying to figure out how to turn information into actionable insights. Make sure you’re collecting essential data and using it to guide your signage and other initiatives. Looking nice isn’t enough to make an effective sign. 4. Make yourself over Your signs should reflect your future as well as your past and present. Maybe you’re starting to reach out to younger customers or expanding into new product lines. Your retail sign campaigns can help you keep moving forward. 5. Think omnichannel Ask yourself how your signs serve to brand your business. How do they integrate with shopping apps and your employees to create a seamless customer experience? How do they fit into your overall campaigns?  The more these various channels all work together, the more powerful your message will become. 6. 3 Reasons to Invest in Wayfinding Signs

By | Wayfinding Signs | No Comments

All hail the great arrow! As symbols go, the arrow is a welcome friend. Think about one simple example – when you’re tired after a long day of travel, arrows on airport signs help you find your luggage and rental car. In the sign industry, we call these kinds of directional signs wayfinding systems. But wayfinding signs are more than just arrows to direct visitors and guests.  Here are three great reasons for incorporating arrows and wayfinding systems into your business environment. That’s one way some stores seem to always get you to spend more than you planned. Smart marketers are cleverly directing customers to the products they most want to sell through the use of thoughtful wayfinding signs. It’s almost like adding a silent salesperson to the team (or an extra Chef in the photo below). –>This way to signs Specialty Graphic Solutions will help you Get Noticed with indoor and outdoor signs, vehicle graphics, trade show displays, window graphics, event signage, wall murals and more. New Business Signs Makeover

By | Exterior Signs

New Business Signs Brighten NW Women’s Fitness It’s a new year and a new look for NW Women’s Fitness in Northeast Portland.  And new business signs are a major part of the studio’s makeover. The first part of the sign makeover started with the backlit, marquee signs on NE Broadway. These large, double sided signs are a great asset for the club. There was no reason to change the sign frames or structure — we simply updated the existing sign panels to reflect the club’s new logo and look. We kicked off this makeover by pulling the old panels out of the sign frames.  Then we cleaned up the old pieces, applied new full color prints on them and reinstalled the bright, new signs in the frames. The new signs feature a simple and clear message that can be seen and read even as cars pass at fairly high speeds on NE Broadway.  The large, clean font maximizes readability. The prominent new logo brands NW Women’s Fitness and makes it easy to identify. And the bold, bright running shoes on the sign draw attention and create a sense of energy. We also made new promotional signs for the club. The fresh, new look of these graphics will catch the attention of both pedestrians and drive by traffic.  Even though they are made to withstand the elements, these pieces are lightweight and inexpensive.  That means they are easy to change to highlight new products and services at the club. The awning signs were also updated to reflect the new branding of NW Women’s Fitness.  The new look also included new lighting to ensure these backlit signs show brightly even at night. NW Women’s Fitness specializes in creating a positive and healthy environment for every kind of woman. They emphasize fitness and health…
