The Mighty Kelley

Owner & Chief Everything Officer, Chief Coffee Consumer, Profit Prognosticator

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

I’m happy living in Vancouver – but how cool would it be to also have an Oregon beach house, a Rocky Mountain cabin, and a pied-a-terre in Paris?

What is your favorite project?

My two daughters

If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

Power to keep my house clean at all times, and to be in 2 places at once

What's your favorite animal?

Polar bears and sea otters

What's the most daring thing you've ever done?

Open my own business

What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten?

I don’t know. Literally. It was on a trip to China and I still don’t really know what it was!

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

Beware of unexpected sarcasm

What is one thing you will never do again?

Be 29

The Mighty Jeff

Brick House (He's Mightay, Mightay), Resident Grey Beard, Marketing Maven, Head Humorist

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

I’ve lived all over the USA and I keep coming back here.

What is your favorite project?

The giant freezer doors at Clark County Food Bank

Who would you want to be stranded with on a deserted island?

A boat building survival expert

If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

My superpower IS Parking Karma. No matter where I drive I always get rock star parking. It’s a little freaky sometimes.

What's your favorite animal?

Otters. Sea and River. I want a river otter but Kelley won’t let me get one. Something about territorial, sharp teeth and smelly, half-eaten dead fish.

What's the most daring thing you've ever done?

I once chaperoned a high school trip to Disneyland.

What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten?

I was at a banquet in China and was passed a plate of what looked like snails. I thought, hmm, probably like escargot, so I ate one. If they were snails, they were the ‘look what I found in the alley’ variety. I’m guessing someone lost a bet when I ate one. Imagine the most disgusting smell and then put it in shell and eat it.

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

Adult supervision recommended

What is one thing you will never do again?

Let a Berlin cab driver take the scenic route to the airport. That and the snails.

Specialty Graphics staff, Ben

The Mighty Ben

Designer extraordinaire and encyclopedia of space and science facts

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

The moon! (at least for a little while)

What is/was your favorite project?

Working as a graphic designer for the Telluride Film Festival, tucked away in a box canyon up at 9,000 ft. in Telluride, Colorado, surrounded by hiking trails, black bears, and mountains.

Who would you want to be stranded with on a desert island?

Robin Williams

If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

Manipulate time

What is your favorite animal?

Tiger!

What's the most daring thing you've ever done?

I left a career in Finance and moved to Los Angeles to be an artist & designer.

What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten?

Chicken hearts

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

Warning: Incoming space & science facts you didn't ask for.

What is one thing you will never do again?

Run a marathon...one was more than enough.

Specialty Graphics staff, Ben

The Mighty Taylor

Production Perfectionist, Sign Savant, and Resident Anti-optimist

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

The Moon, I hear the rent is reasonable.

What is your favorite project?

The jobs that seem complex, but install like a breeze.

Who would you want to be stranded with on a deserted island?

Who said I needed someone to be stranded with?

If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

Matter Manipulation, a la Apocalypse from the marvel universe.

What's your favorite animal?

Horseshoe Crab

What's the most daring thing you've ever done?

Assume.

What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten?

This feels like a trick question, but I’ll say Oysters.

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

Warning: Caustic

What is one thing you will never do again?

Peel vinyl off a vehicle in the heat of summer without a canopy or some shade.

Specialty Graphics staff dog, Olive

Olive the Office Dog

Found at Pound, Nose to Ground, All-Around Lovable Hound

What is your background?

I'm a Texas girl relocated to Vancouver at 8 weeks. I'm part black lab, part something else, and 100% pure energy.

Do you have any favorite past times or hobbies?

I’m lightning fast and LOVE chasing balls and Frisbees. I’m also an expert at Keep Away. I’m working really hard to get Jeff trained to chase after me instead of me bringing him the ball.

Do you have a favorite food?

I'm really not that picky. But hot dogs are my Kryptonite. My superpowers melt. If you have a hot dog, you have my attention!

Which super hero do you most resemble?

I've been told I'm a dead ringer for Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow. I guess that makes me the Black Doggo?

What is the most daring thing you have done?

I like to find "unique" places to drink. I think they are called gross because that's what I hear when I drink at one. "Olive! That's gross!"

What is the most interesting thing you have eaten?

I don't really keep track, but off the top of my head, I know I’ve eaten shark, pig, sheep, whale, skunk, and a couple of rabbits. Let’s just say that if it's a fluffy stuffed toy, I've probably eaten it.

Warning Label

"Warning - Opportunist! Keep all trash cans empty and counter tops clean."
