How To Display DOT Numbers On Your Company Vehicles

By | Fleet Graphics, Truck Lettering, Uncategorized, Vehicle Vinyl Lettering, Vehicle Vinyl Logos
Example of DOT Numbers Size

Do I Need USDOT Numbers On My Commercial Vehicles?

Currently, 37 states require commercial vehicles to display DOT numbers.  For some reason, it is really hard to find out how to properly display them on your truck.  Fortunately, The Mighty Sign Makers have got your (DOT) number.  Here’s the short version:

DOT numbers must be located on the cab door or just to the right of the door when facing the cab.  The number must be on both the driver and passenger sides.  Colors must “contrast sharply” with background colors and be large enough to be seen from a minimum distance of 50 feet during daylight hours when the vehicle is stationary.   – Source Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Administration (FMVSA)

Our letter visibility chart shows that 2 inches, or taller, lettering is visible from 50 feet.

Seems simple enough.  Most companies use block letters but a fancier font can be used as long as the writing is legible.  The vast majority of companies use long-lasting vinyl lettering for vehicle lettering.  The lettering is typically in white or black but it can be any color as long as there is a sharp contrast with the color of the vehicle.  If you run with a lot of chrome, the lettering can be chrome as long as it contrasts.  Since the vehicle is new, newly painted, or new to you, we suggest that you add your company contact information, and logo at the same time.

Information to display?

According to the Motor Carriers Guide to Improve Highway Safety, Vehicle Identification (390.21), every commercial motor vehicle operated by a motor carrier in interstate commerce must be marked, on BOTH sides of the vehicle, with the following:

  • The motor carrier’s name or trade name
  • The motor carrier’s identification number, preceded by “US DOT”
  • The size, shape and color markings must be in letters that contrast sharply in color with the background on which the letters are placed
  • The lettering must be readily legible during daylight hours, from a distance of 50 feet.

What else should you put on the sides of your vehicle?  Your truck is one of the public faces of your company.  Use it to promote your company with logos, taglines, contact information, and phone or website.

What are the USDOT Number requirements?

Now we are getting into regulations which can change so you shouldn’t rely solely on the Mighty Sign Makers’ blog post.  Just about every state has adopted the FMCSA rules which require all interstate carriers and intrastate carriers need to have US DOT numbers.  Both Washington and Oregon follow the FMCSA guidelines.  According to the FMCSA website, you are required to obtain a USDOT number if you have a vehicle that:

  • Is used to transport the types and quantities of hazardous materials requiring a safety permit in intrastate commerce (see 49 CFR 385.403).

OR

  • Has a gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination weight rating, or gross vehicle weight or gross combination weight, of 4,536 kg (10,001 pounds) or more, whichever is greater; or
  • Is designed or used to transport more than 8 passengers (including the driver) for compensation; or
  • Is designed or used to transport more than 15 passengers, including the driver, and is not used to transport passengers for compensation

AND is involved in Interstate Commerce:

Trade, traffic, or transportation in the United States—

  • Between a place in a State and a place outside of such State (including a place outside of the United States);
  • Between two places in a State through another State or a place outside of the United States; or
  • Between two places in a State as part of trade, traffic, or transportation originating or terminating outside the State or the United States.

What about displaying Operating Authority (MC number)?

If you are required to have an MC number then the display requirements are the same as the DOT number.

Where do I go to get high-quality numbers, lettering, and logos?

At Specialty Graphic Solutions we only use the highest quality materials that are designed for long life during outdoor automotive use.  We use 3M, Avery and Oracal vinyl which we feel are the best products on the market.  The Mighty Sign Makers can install the graphics for a professional look.  Why use a company like Specialty Graphic Solutions?  Because we care about our customers and their needs and we do things right the first time.  About 80% of our business is repeat or referral.  We are particularly good at working with fleets of vehicles.

Vehicle Graphics for a “Kick-Ash” Company

By | Vehicle Graphics, Vehicle Vinyl Lettering

Sometimes all you need to do to get noticed is to update your image. Whether it’s your wardrobe, your furniture or the fading decals on your company vehicle, making sure that you present yourself in the best light means keeping things looking fresh. When Adam Brown, owner of Top to Bottom Chimney Specialist in Vancouver Wash., needed to update the vehicle graphics on the windows of his Chevy Yukon, he called the Mighty Sign Makers at Specialty Graphic Solutions.

Adam already knew that vehicle graphics can make a major difference to your business, but it was time for an update. With a tagline as good as “We Kick Ash!” going on the windows, SGS knew we had to make Adam’s Chevy as awesome as we could.

Brand New Look

Instead of remaking the exact look of Adam’s original graphics, our expert team of graphic designers worked on new designs. After discussing things with Adam, our team printed a logo and text for the back three windows of Adam’s Yukon. Adam wanted red colored graphics and decided on a color gradient, which our digital printer renders perfectly for a richer and more noticeable result that was sure to turn heads of potential clients.

What We Did

Adam brought his Yukon over to the SGS headquarters and we had a look at what we were working with. First, we had to remove the old graphics from Adam’s windows. We needed to make sure that the new graphics looked as good as we could make them and bits of old decals would have looked pretty bad. After we removed the old graphics and the new designs were approved, cut and printed our professional team installed them at the SGS facilities.

With the name of the business, phone number and the big selling-point of senior and veteran discounts on the back of his SUV, wherever Adam goes in his Yukon, anyone and everyone will know that Top to Bottom Chimney Specialist “kick-ash”.

Things to Avoid With Vehicle Lettering and Logos

By | Vehicle Graphics, Vehicle Vinyl Lettering, Vehicle Vinyl Logos

Vehicle graphics are pretty awesome. They do a lot of work for your business at an affordable price and they’re always building you brand on the road, at job sites and in your parking lot. If you use vehicles in your business, it just makes sense to invest in these products. Vehicle letters and logos are one of the simpler types of vehicle graphic options that we offer at SGS. But that doesn’t mean they’re not some of the best signage out there. These graphics can convey any message you need, but there are some rules you should stick to with vehicle lettering and logos. Here is some mighty advice from the Mighty Sign Makers on what not to do with your vehicle lettering and logos:

Teeny-Tiny Letters and Images

There’s a reason road signs have big lettering. Anyone passing by must be able to read the message on them comfortably. The same goes for your vehicle graphics. Don’t cause a fender bender as people struggle to read the information on your vehicle.  You need graphics of a certain size. Large enough to be read at a distance and while on the move, but also small enough to fit on your vehicle. In other words, you need mighty lettering and logos to get noticed by your target audience without causing a traffic accident.

Bad Placement

The size and shape of some vehicles can be very different. If you have a lot of curves and slants on the back of your vehicle, this may not be the best place to put your most important information. If you put your name and number on a harshly slanted rear window, it’s prime target will be helicopters and passing birds. That’s why you need a professional team like the Mighty Sign Makers to help you find the perfect place to put your contact information and name.

Way Too Much Information

Writing a whole paragraph about your business and your ideals on the back of your truck or van is not going to have a positive effect on your business. Unless you operate a food truck and want to put your menu on your vehicle, keeping the information in your graphics to the bare minimum is important to get the most out of your mobile billboard. People can’t stop and read your company’s history on the side of your van while doing 65 on the highway. What they can do is read your name, get a good look at your logo and read that you specialize in a certain service. It’s best to say a lot with a little when it comes to vehicle graphics. Too much information on your vehicles leads to distracted driving.

Mighty Professionals

Our team at Specialty Graphic Solutions are experts. We’ll help you find the perfect way to make an impact with your vehicle lettering and logos. We know what works and what doesn’t, so we’ll help you find a mighty solution to your vehicle signage problems.

Using Vehicle Lettering and Logos to Brand in Portland Oregon!

By | Vehicle Vinyl Lettering, Vehicle Vinyl Logos

Using Vehicle Lettering and Logos to Brand is key in a promotion.  In the old days, savvy entrepreneurs who were looking to make a name for themselves were told to “go west.” Nowadays, if you gave a Portlander that advice, they’d probably look at you quizzically and wonder what was so great about Tillamook or any of the other small towns out that way.

These days, the sage advice is to “go mobile.” This may bring to mind busy people looking down at their phones while they dodge the physical obstacles of life. However, in this case, we’re talking about mobile marketing. Specifically, you ought to consider bedazzling your fleet with vehicle lettering and logos in Portland, Oregon.

WHY!?!

Putting your organization’s logo on the side of a vehicle is a high-visibility, affordable form of direct marketing whether you have a single company car you use to deliver artisanal chicken nuggets to clients or you run a floral delivery business with a small fleet of vans. Here are the reasons you need to slap your logo and company name on the side of your ride:

Flexibility of Logo Placement

Putting your business’s name on your vehicle is no longer a matter of painting it on your side panels. Today, you can get creative. For instance, you can cover your hood, rear, and sides with giant logos. If you drive around the city a lot, throw your logo on the roof too so folks looking down from their fancy high-rise offices and apartments can see your branding. Magnetic logos are a smart solution when you have a vehicle that only does company work part time.

Brand Your Organization

The face of your brand is your logo. When you saturate a geographic market with your image by placing a logo on your vehicle, you build greater visibility and awareness for your brand’s public face. It also ensures that your good work gets credited to your business. For example, as your landscaping business improves neighborhood yards, potential clients will see your vehicle lettering and know who is responsible for the fantastic shrub menagerie.

Save Money Compared to Other Media

The first step is to get an awesome logo. This will cost you a few hundred dollars, but it’s generally worth every penny. Even with the cost of hiring a graphic designer, vehicle logos and lettering are still less than you’d expect to pay for a billboard, TV ad, radio spot, or newspaper ad. Plus, your vehicle graphics will last you for up to five years or more.

Logo on the Run

Whether it’s in front of the TV or on a specific freeway, the aforementioned media depend upon consumers being in a certain place to get their message across. Vehicle graphics stalk your target audience like a leopard going after a zebra.

Business cards usually end up in someone’s wallet where they’re promptly forgotten, or they stay in a pants pocket where they’re mangled by a washer-dryer tag team. Logos on the side of trucks are memorable, and with repetition, consumers will think of your enterprise when they need the services you offer.

If you’re ready to boost your brand recognition, contact the mighty sign makers at Specialty Graphic Solutions today for a free consultation on vehicle lettering and logos in Portland, Oregon.

Above & Beyond Hydroseed Shines with Fleet Vehicle Graphics!

By | Fleet Graphics, Vehicle Graphics, Vehicle Vinyl Lettering

Did you know that using black electrical tape to spell out your business’s name on your work trucks may not be the brand-building tool you thought it would be? It’s true. At best, you can hope that people just won’t see your bootleg vehicle graphics. At worst, it’ll hurt your business.

Sure, you may not go to this extreme of cheapness, but even using standard vehicle lettering isn’t enough to get your name out there these days. You need something more attention-grabbing. That’s exactly what Above & Beyond Hydroseed was looking for when they contacted Specialty Graphic Solutions for equipment graphics in Ridgefield, WA.

The 4-1-1 on Above & Beyond Hydroseed

Headquartered on Northeast 175th Street in Ridgefield, Above & Beyond Hydroseed is a far-out business that delivers personalized customer care and exceptional results (just like SGS!), whether they’re working on improvements to a homeowner’s front yard or providing landscaping for a 400-unit housing development. Founded fifteen years ago by Valerie and John Dewezt, they’re the hydroseed, erosion, and drainage experts.

When an organization that does so much to keep local homes and businesses looking their best came to us for fleet vehicle graphics in Ridgefield, WA, we hit the ground running. Above & Beyond had a couple of new vehicles they’d recently added to their fleet: a Ford F350 Quad Chassis Cab and the Finn hydroseeder trailer. If you guessed it was the T75 model, you’d be correct. They wanted to outfit both of their rigs with their branding and contact info. Fortunately, they contacted the right pros for the job.

We Went the Extra Mile for Above & Beyond

As we start every project, we met with Above & Beyond to chat with them about what they had in mind for their graphics. At this time, we also checked out their vehicles. The Ford F350 was easier because we had templates for it. The hydroseed trailer was a different story. Our mighty sign makers noted the contours of the trailer and mapped out its measurements. Based on the vehicles and the client’s vision, we created a number of art proofs for Above & Beyond. Once they approved of the vehicle graphic designs, we got down to work.

We digitally printed the vehicle graphics in full color using our state of the art large format printer. If you look closely, you can clearly see that we used Oracal 3165 RA gloss vinyl with the Oracal 310 gloss protective laminate to ensure the graphics would look their best far into the future (or about five years). Once the graphics were ready, we scheduled a time to install them when Above & Beyond could be without their truck and trailer for a little while. We’ve tried installing graphics while vehicles are on the move, and it just ends up being messy.

In the end, Above & Beyond was completely thrilled with the job we did. Now, as they make their way from one jobsite to the next, they’re exposing their branding to every Tom, Dick, and Harry they pass by.

Going to the Dogs: Vehicle Graphics for Mobile Dog Groomers!

By | Vehicle Graphics, Vehicle Vinyl Lettering, Vehicle Wrap
 Vehicle Graphics Inspired by

Vehicle Graphics Inspired by “Beanz!”

Small business owners are the backbone of America, but marking your territory in the business world takes a good portion – if not all – of your cunning. Smart entrepreneurs are increasingly outfitting their company vehicles with graphics to increase their exposure. Soapy Dogs wanted to put their paw prints all over the pet grooming market in Northwest Oregon, so they contacted Specialty Graphic Solutions for vehicle graphics for mobile dog groomers.

The Low Down on Soapy Dog

Based in Gresham, Soapy Dog is a mobile pet grooming company owned by Tank and Tiffany Wright. A lifelong Gresham resident, Tank is a certified groomer in the State of Oregon and a member of the American Groomer’s Association. They provide a long list of grooming services, including brushing, main trimming, ear cleaning, ear plucking, warm baths, paw trimming, gland expression, haircuts, treatment for dry skin, teeth brushing, flea and tick treatments, de-matting, and bikini waxes. Okay, we may have made up that last one, but you get the point: they do everything!

When a business that does so much for local furry friends came to us for vehicle graphics for mobile dog groomers, we jumped at the chance to be of assistance. You see, mobile dog washing is one hot industry today. Clients are willing to pay a premium for a professional pet service to come to them and provide grooming service. Soapy Dog needed a way to get a leg up on the competition by getting their name out there. Fortunately, we had just the solution.

SGS Did a Doggone Good Job

Our first step was to meet with a dog. Beanz the Boston Terrier is one of two dogs owned by the Wrights, and Beanz is the inspiration for their logo. They wanted to incorporate their logo and contact information into their attention-grabbing graphics. We put our mighty sign makers on the job and created a mock-up of what their mobile unit could look like. They loved the design, so we got down to work on it!

We printed the graphics on top-quality vinyl films with high-contrast color for added visibility. You can see how the blue pops out against the white van. And, since the van is going to be the primary source of advertising for the client, we also made the telephone and website stand out. Once the graphics were all printed, we added an overlaminate to ensure they would look their best for years to come.

Next, we scheduled a time to install the wrap when the mobile unit wouldn’t be full of adorable pups. We worked quickly but carefully. We wanted to get Soapy dog back on the road as soon as possible, but we refuse to compromise on quality. In the end, the Wrights loved the job we did. Now, they’re exposing their branding to tens of thousands of consumers each day as they travel the roads of Northwest Oregon.

Soapy Dog isn’t the only business we serve. If you’re situated in or around Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR, we can help you boost your brand awareness and drive sales. Contact SGS today for a free consultation!

Transportation Company Brands with Truck Graphics and USDOT Lettering in Vancouver WA!

By | Truck Lettering, USDOT Lettering, Vehicle Vinyl Lettering

Vehicle graphics are the best way to market your business when on the road. No one is disputing that. The problem is that when you’re hauling cargo from here to Beantown 24/7, it’s difficult to put your rig out of commission long enough to give your ride some style. Thankfully, Krontrans Transport came to Specialty Graphic Solutions where we worked with his schedule to install truck graphics and USDOT lettering in Vancouver, WA for transportation companies.

Kron Gets the Job Done

Based on Southeast 136th Avenue in Vancouver, Krontrans Transport, Inc. is the business of an owner-operator long haul trucker. The enterprise is relatively new and looking to build its clientele. He transports paper products, fresh produce, refrigerated food, general freight, beverages, and much more. Basically, if you need to get something from Point A to Point B, he’s your man.

When an entrepreneur who does so much to help local businesses transport their goods came to us for truck graphics and USDOT lettering in Vancouver, WA for transportation companies, we said, “10-4, Good Buddy!” Krontrans had a gorgeous Volvo truck, and he wanted us to help him boost its looks. Fortunately, this wasn’t our mighty sign makers’ first rodeo.

We Kept Krontrans on the Road

Our first step with any project is to meet with the client to discuss their goals and to get a look at their vehicle. This is kind of awkward when the project is a lobby sign, and there’s no apparent reason for us to check out their vehicle, but alas, we do an excellent job, so no one complains.

In addition to USDOT numbers, Krontrans wanted us to make his graphic logo a reality. Based on his description, we created the logo, a horsehead with an element of forward motion done in Chrome to match the existing Volvo lettering, which he wanted to keep.

Since the truck is his livelihood and if it isn’t moving he isn’t making money, we did the job in multiple phases to minimize the impact on his operations. As the proverb goes, “a rolling stone gathers no moss,” and we don’t want our customers to be mossy on our account.

Nothing “Phases” Us

The first phase was to remove the old vinyl and to take measurements for the new design. This was a big leap of faith for the owner because if the print wasn’t just right, it would mean more downtime. He then hit the road with a delivery, and when he came on back, we gave him art proofs of what the finished product would look like. He approved it and hit the road yet again. While he was haulin’ widgets, we printed the graphics and pre-staged everything to ensure the installation went quickly and smoothly.

When Krontrans came by one final time, our Mighty Sign Makers quickly installed the graphics, and off he went again. In the end, we delivered, and Krontrans couldn’t be happier. Now, his logo and our work are seen everywhere he goes.

If you want to turn heads with your truck cabin, contact SGS today for a free quote!

Still Not Sure About Mobile Marketing? Read our Vehicle Wrap FAQs for Portland Oregon

By | Vehicle Vinyl Lettering, Vehicle Vinyl Logos, Vehicle Wrap

If you think vehicle wraps are only for cool dude hunks who want to trick out their Honda Civics, think again! More and more businesses that aren’t even that cool are taking advantage of this marketing tool. Before we install your new wrap, we know you have lots of questions. So, below we answer your vehicle wrap FAQs for Portland, Oregon:

What Is a Vehicle Wrap?

The term “vehicle wrap” doesn’t refer to people singing about “blades” on their Impala. Instead, they’re vinyl adhesive films that are specifically designed to go on cars. Full wraps cover the entire body of your vehicle. Partial wraps work with the color of your vehicle to create a visually appealing design while covering just portions of your vehicle. Wraps can be a solid color or feature any high-resolution graphics you want, including photographs.

Are Vehicle Wraps Expensive?

Prices depend on the scope of your vehicle wrap project since every application and automobile is different. For instance, if you want a full color change wrap, including inner door frames, sills, and door jambs, it’ll cost you more than if you just want to wrap the hood and doors of your work van with pictures of kittens. Prices vary based on surface complexity, the amount of vinyl used, and the type of vehicle you have.

Are Vehicle Wraps Illegal?

We aren’t a back alley operation. We keep everything on the up and up. That being said, unless you’re talking about a wrap with explicit images that could potentially make children cry or photos you don’t the rights to that could potentially make lawyers cry, vehicle wraps aren’t illegal.

Will I Be Able to Pass My Wrap onto My Grandchildren?

There are a lot of factors that go into answering that question. We’ll just say that some wraps last for up to five years or more, and you can’t transfer a wrap from one car to another. You can use your best judgment to answer your question.

Your wrap’s lifespan will depend on how much daily stress the wrap gets from road driving, what quality film was used, and how well the film is cared for.

Can You Please Remove This Wrap from My Vehicle?

Of course! In fact, we insist upon it. Wrap removal is a bit of a tedious process, therefore it’s a job better left to the pros. And, not to brag or anything, but we’re kind of pros.

Now, Install This Wrap!

That’s not really a question, but we do wrap installation. Even if you make a mistake and buy your wrap online or from a local competitor, we’ll swallow our pride and provide you with the best darn wrap installation services in the Pacific Northwest!

Do you have something on your mind that isn’t answered by our vehicle wraps FAQs for Portland, Oregon? Well, give us a call! The mighty sign makers at Specialty Graphic Solutions are more than happy to talk with you and help you flesh out whether your vehicle would look good in a vinyl suit; we’ll even tell you how to take care of your vinyl! For a free consultation, contact us today!

The Amazing Power of Fleet Graphics in Portland Oregon

By | Fleet Graphics, Truck Lettering, Vehicle Vinyl Lettering

With all of the money you spend on buying, insuring, and maintaining your fleet vehicles, it may be hard for you to loosen your purse strings for yet another expense. However, if you want to be sure that you have any money in your purse (or wallet or bank account) in the future, it’s imperative that you make the minor investment in fleet graphics in Portland, Oregon.

Let’s look at a fictitious example…

Business A performs incredible work. Their competitor, Business B, performs okay work. They get the job done, but it’s nothing to write home about. Business A uses plain work vehicles with no identifying markings. When they’re on the job site, no one can tell who’s performing the excellent work. Business B has fleet graphics. You can easily tell who’s on the job wherever they may roam.

Now, let’s fast forward to a few months later, and you’re in need of the services that both Businesses A and B provide. Who’re you going to call? It’s unlikely you’ll call Business A – even though they do superior work – because you don’t even know their name. On the other hand, Business B does a passable job, and you’re familiar with their brand. Even if you did know Business A’s name, you’re likely to forget it by the time you need their services. But, if they had vehicle graphics, you’d be reminded as you saw their trucks on the road.

Don’t Be Business A

Is your organization the Clyde Drexler of its industry, but you can’t seem to find enough work? Maybe it’s time for a little investment in vehicle graphics to really boost your name recognition. Here are our slam dunk recommendations:

Truck Lettering – We recommend vinyl lettering to enterprises that want to put their name on their entire fleet without breaking the bank. There are dozens of standard colors and fonts to pick from. Or, we can custom print your letters to match your other marketing materials. If you really want to turn heads, consider metallic, neon, matte, carbon fiber, or reflective vinyl styles.

Spot Graphics – Also referred to as vinyl decals, spot graphics are the most affordable way to put your logo on your fleet. They can also be used to highlight pictures of your handiwork and best-selling products. Spot graphics work perfectly in conjunction with vehicle lettering.

Perforated Window Vinyl – What kind of irresponsible moron covers up their windows with graphics? Woah, hey, let’s not judge just yet! With perforated window vinyl, you can cover any of your rear windows with your marketing message while still allowing the driver to see out. The secret is tiny holes. We only provide this for rear windows, though. We’re not irresponsible morons!

We’ve discussed a lot of budget friendly options above, but if you really want to get the attention of absolutely everyone, we recommend full vehicle wraps. These are a little bit pricey, but they make a big splash.

If you’re tired of losing work to businesses that simply aren’t as good as your enterprise, contact the mighty sign makers at Specialty Graphic Solutions today for a free consultation on fleet graphics in Portland, Oregon. We’ll help you out.

Questions? Drop us a line at hello@SGSgraphic.com or call us at (360) 635-5556 and unless we’re up to our elbows in alligators, a live person will answer. If you leave a message we will call you back pronto.

Why Choose Vehicle Vinyl Lettering in Vancouver?

By | Truck Lettering, Vehicle Vinyl Lettering, Vehicle Vinyl Logos

Emojis are all the rage these days. It seems like just about every text we get from friends features an emoji that leaves their message ambiguous and confusing. Now, as a sign company that prides itself on being able to do anything, we can render your company’s information on your fleet vehicles using emojis, but consumers will likely be all like “OMG! WTF?” That’s why Specialty Graphic Solutions offers vehicle vinyl lettering in Vancouver, WA instead of emojis. But, how’s lettering used? We’re glad you asked. Check out these uses:

Put Your Courtesy Shuttles to Work

If you provide a courtesy shuttle to your auto dealership, hotel, car rental business, or any other enterprise, vinyl lettering is a must. You show prospective customers that you take care of your clients when you outfit your vans with spot graphics and lettering. This also helps you advertise to your target audience. For instance, your hotel courtesy shuttle reaches jet-setters, vacationers, business people, and others who like to travel as you pick up and drop off guests at the airport.

Direct Hungry People to Your Eatery

Does your restaurant offer catering services? How do people find out about this offering? Many establishments think that a little ad in an easy-to-miss spot on your menu will be just the shot in the arm your catering services need to get off the ground. Think again. You need your delivery van or car to feature your name and logo if you really want event planners to associate your diner with catering for a banquet or party. This will also advertise your popular dishes and cuisine.

If you operate a food truck, how do you set yourself apart from the other trucks in the vicinity? You must use vibrant letters to publicize your menu items. Fortunately, we have matte, reflective, neon, and metallic style letters in whatever colors you want. When your truck has your logo and name on it, you’ll boost your brand awareness. This is important if you want hungry boys and girls to seek you out and base their dining decisions on whether you’re around or not.

Install a Billboard on the Job Site

Say what? Most contractors never consider installing billboards on their job sites. Most homeowners or businesses wouldn’t allow it. Or, would they? When you add vehicle vinyl lettering in Vancouver, WA, you transform your work vehicle into a billboard on wheels. This essentially turns all of your job sites into giant advertisements for your enterprise whether you’re an electrician, handyman, plumber, heating and air conditioning professionals, or any other type of contractor.

Even if you use your personal vehicle for work, there are still numerous reasons to add truck lettering. For instance, you can benefit from a lettered car if you travel around teaching cooking classes. You’ll expose teachers and students to your branding. In addition, you build brand recognition, show goodwill, and generate buzz when you show up with vinyl lettering.

This is just a taste of what we can do. If you want solutions specifically tailored to your needs, contact the mighty sign makers at SGS today for a free quote.
